Why are you changing your Saturday hours to every other weekend?
We’ve noticed that Saturdays tend to be less busy and often operate at a loss. By opening every other Saturday, we can better allocate our resources to maintain a high standard of care for your pets. This approach also helps us operate more sustainably over the long term.

When does this change start?
The new schedule begins on 1 March 2025. After that date, we’ll be open on alternate Saturdays from 10am–12pm.

Which services will you offer on open Saturdays?
We will still provide essential consultations, urgent treatments, and scheduled vaccinations during these hours. If you have a concern that might not fit within this window, we recommend booking a weekday appointment.

What if my pet needs urgent care on a Saturday you’re closed?
Our usual after-hours emergency service remains available. If your pet experiences an emergency on a closed Saturday (or any time we’re not open), please call our main number to be directed to the appropriate after-hours service.

Will the reduced Saturday hours affect the quality of care?
Absolutely not. By focusing on specific Saturdays and consolidating resources, we can ensure top-quality care during the hours we are open. Our weekday hours remain the same, and our team is still here to support you every step of the way.

I rely on Saturday appointments—what if I can’t make it on the Saturdays you’re open?
We understand scheduling challenges. We encourage you to book weekday appointments or plan ahead for the next open Saturday. If neither option works, we will do our best to find a solution—just give us a call.

Will my regular veterinarian or nurse be available on these Saturdays?
We aim to staff the same friendly faces you’re used to seeing. However, depending on rotations and availability, you may see a different vet or nurse on certain Saturdays. Rest assured, all team members are equally dedicated to your pet’s health.

Can I still pick up prescriptions or food on closed Saturdays?
We recommend picking up items in advance during our normal weekday hours or on an open Saturday. For urgent prescription needs on a closed Saturday, please call our main line to explore options.

Is there a chance the clinic will go back to weekly Saturdays in the future?
We’ll evaluate the new schedule after a few months. If client demand or our resources change, we may adjust again. For now, our focus is on providing high-quality, consistent care under this fortnightly schedule.
